Front Cover Text: Mile High Productions invites you to watch as the Carvair is put through her paces in the rugged Coast Mountains of British Columbia. Back Cover Test:Once again we are treated to some rare footage of one of the more
interesting looking airplanes of years ago, the Carvair. These historical filmed pictures of pre-Hawkair life are filmed in Alaska, British Columbia and Alberta by Paul Hawkins who takes us back in time into the daily workings of Hawkair’s Carvair. Also included in the DVD is the historic (first ever) air transport of Reindeer from the Aleutian Islands to Red Deer Alberta. An added bonus as Hawkins takes time to show us a little (of what’s left) of Fort Glenn, one of the few places land based US Aircraft attacked Japanese forces during WWII.
This is a historical production that you’ll definitely want to add to your aviation DVD collection.
